The wine list at Rhubarb embraces everything that Head Chef, Varun Khanna and the team love about wine from old, fine and rare to young, new and exciting. Our team is entirely dedicated to exceptional wine from the best vintages and hope to offer a list that excites every palette.
We are very proud of our collection that has been meticulously built into matching Rhubarb’s food and service with our shared dedication to excellence. Crafting the Wine Flight to match our Tasting Menu is a serious yet pleasurable task with several wines tasted to ensure the perfect pairing for every course.
One of our aims is to make premium wines more accessible and you will find several ‘Second’ wines from the world’s top wine producers. These wines share the character and taste of ‘First’ wines yet offer incredible value for money, Lacoste Borie is a prime example of this and the 2012 vintage is currently drinking superbly.
It doesn’t matter if you don’t know your Shiraz from your Tempranillo. In fact, that is more exciting for us, and the team can become your guide and hopefully share something new. I have highlighted some of my personal favourites on the list and do hope you enjoy your time with us.
