Varun Khanna returns to Yorkshire having worked at the illustrious Restaurant Sat Bains, a world famous establishment boasting an impressive Two Michelin Star rating.

Originally from Bradford, West Yorkshire, Varun’s culinary journey started age 16 when he embarked on his first job at a quaint local cafe in Halifax. Although not yet attaining the pinnacle of culinary excellence, it was within those humble surroundings that he discovered an insatiable love for cooking.

 

Varun now takes charge of his own kitchen at Rhubarb. Varun provides a dining experience that epitomises quality, sourcing ingredients locally to showcase the very best produce Yorkshire has to offer. Varun seeks to delight your palate cooking modern food with classical flavour combinations while remaining humble and approachable in creating exceptional cuisine.
